Healthcare executives face difficult issues when planning for a renovation or replacement of a facility. Our first-hand knowledge of these critical issues and concerns has informed our innovative and successful process, which marries the best practices of design-build with the unique requirements of working in challenging healthcare settings.
Benefits
Our process minimizes the project risk for clients and reduces the delivery schedule by overlapping the design phase and construction phase of a project.
Additional benefits:
- Substantial contractor involvement during planning
- Compression of time
- Emphasis on quality and service
- Enhanced communication between the contractor and the client
- Increased accountability by the contractor
- Single source project delivery
- A value-based project feedback system
Methodology
Our depth of experience in building challenging high-tech facilities allows us to add considerable value to our clients’ planning process. Our approach maximizes safety, efficiency, and customer service. CMSI does not provide engineering services. We contract all engineering with properly licensed design professionals and firms in the states and jurisdictions that CMSI serves. Incorporating engineering services ‘local’ to the project results in better design, lower cost, and reduction of preparation time.
